This is another critter recipe. It's easy and takes only 5 minutes or so.
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups of water
1 cup of sugar
DIRECTIONS:
Measure out 4 cups of HOT tap water. Stir in 1 cup of sugar until dissolved.
Replace and wash out feeder once a month or so.
NOTES:
If you feeder is already red there is no need to add food coloring. However, if it is a clear feeder add a couple drops of red food coloring and mix until combined.
This recipe makes four cups. Most feeders are about that size or smaller. Since it is a 4:1 ratio you can easily adjust it to your needs. I used 2 cups water and 1/2 cup sugar to fill my small feeder.
